HOW THE DESK TRADES
The Desk Trading Methodology.
This document outlines the trading framework used at the Infra Trade Options desk. It is the reference behind every daily plan, alert and recap you see in the community. Read it once in full, then return to it whenever you need to recalibrate.
Instruments & Focus
- ▸Core instruments are SPX, ES futures (ES_F) and QQQ. Selective trades are also taken in large-cap names such as NVDA, META, TSLA, AMD and MSFT when a high-quality setup presents itself.
- ▸The primary focus is SPX 0DTE, traded nearly every session against a predefined plan that is published to members each morning.
Strategy
- ▸The approach is deliberately simple and does not rely on complex indicators. Trades are taken level to level — around key support, resistance and level recaptures.
- ▸Breakouts are traded only once established patterns such as flags, triangles and megaphones have fully matured.
- ▸Options Flow, Gamma Exposure, Tape and News Feed are available as context, but execution is driven exclusively by price action and the market's reaction at key levels.
Risk Management
- ▸Capital preservation is the first priority. A daily loss limit is set in advance; once it is reached, trading stops for the day. A green day is never allowed to turn red.
- ▸SPX 0DTE stops: a fixed stop is not used unless a clear trend reversal appears. Position sizes are small enough that a total loss remains within the daily limit.
- ▸General guideline: never risk more than 5% of the account on a single trade. On a $100K account that is $5,000 of maximum exposure — or $2,500 of risk when using a 50% stop.
- ▸ES_F and swing trades: stop-loss levels are honoured strictly, without exception.
